bank deposit?

I just got my boyfriends check from his work. It is signed and i have a deposit slip. If i fill it out will the bank let me deposit his check into his account?

1. Yes. A word to the wise for future .. once he's signed the back of the check anyone can cash it. If he drops it or loses it .. it can be cashed by the person who finds it. A better idea: have him write on the back of the check: His signature and 'Deposit To Payee', or just write 'Deposit To Payee'.

3. Absolutely - if he signed the check and his name is on the account, they shouldn't question you at all. Now, if you are getting any cash back...that may pose a problem....
